Full-scope attic restoration

Everything that needs to happen, handled by one crew.

Up to 40% of the air your family breathes passes through the attic. When rodent droppings, urine-soaked insulation, and animal nesting debris are up there, that contamination is in every room of the house. Here is what we do about it.

1

Animal removal and exclusion

We find what got in, remove it, and seal every entry point with materials rated to withstand animal pressure. If wildlife caused the damage, we address the source before touching the restoration.

2

Contamination cleanup

Industrial HEPA-filtered vacuum equipment removes every inch of contaminated insulation, droppings, urine, and nesting debris. Nothing contaminated stays behind.

3

Decontamination and sanitization

After removal, we treat the attic deck with antimicrobial and deodorizing agents that eliminate bacteria, odor, and residual contamination. The attic is sanitized to a clean baseline.

4

Insulation replacement

Fresh insulation installed to the proper R-value for your climate zone. The attic goes from a contamination liability to a properly performing thermal barrier.

5

Sealing and structural repair

Every gap, penetration, and compromised area gets sealed. If there is structural damage from the infestation, we identify it and address it before the new material goes in.

6

Photo documentation

Before, during, and after photos of the entire job. You see exactly what was done without climbing a single rung.

Jackson, NJ. Full raccoon remediation and insulation replacement. One day.

Three contractors or one crew. Your call.

The typical attic restoration involves a wildlife company for the animal, a cleaning company for the contamination, and an insulation contractor for the reinstall. Three companies, three schedules, three invoices, and nobody who owns the final result.

We handle the entire scope. One crew walks in. When they walk out, the animal is gone, the contamination is cleaned, the insulation is replaced, and every entry point is sealed.

  • One inspection, one written scope, one price
  • One crew that owns the result start to finish
  • No finger-pointing between contractors
  • Restoration and exclusion scoped together so you do not restore twice
  • Photo documentation of every phase sent to you

What is included in attic restoration?
Our attic restoration includes six steps: inspection of all contamination and damage, industrial vacuum removal of contaminated insulation and debris, antimicrobial decontamination and sanitization of the attic deck, structural assessment, installation of fresh insulation, and a documented final walkthrough. If the contamination was caused by wildlife, we scope the exclusion work into the same project.
Do I need restoration after rodents or raccoons?
Often, yes. If the attic has droppings, urine, torn insulation, damaged vents, or a strong odor, restoration is usually the right next step. Contaminated insulation loses its thermal performance and needs professional removal. Up to 40% of the air in your living space passes through the attic, so leaving the mess in place affects the whole house.
How much does attic restoration cost?
Cost depends on the size of the attic, the type and extent of contamination, and whether full insulation replacement is included. A basic cleanout for a small attic with light contamination costs less than a full-scope job involving complete insulation removal, decontamination, and reinstall across a large attic. We inspect first and quote based on what we actually find.
How long does attic restoration take?
Most attic restoration jobs are completed in a single day. Larger attics or severe contamination may take two days. We confirm the timeline during inspection based on attic size, accessibility, and scope of contamination.
Do you replace the insulation after cleaning?
Yes. Cleaning out contaminated insulation without replacing it leaves you with an uninsulated attic, which means extreme energy loss and comfort problems. We install fresh insulation to the proper R-value for your climate zone as part of the standard restoration scope.
Is contaminated insulation dangerous?
Contaminated insulation is a real problem. Wildlife-damaged insulation loses 40 to 70 percent of its R-value, which means higher energy bills and uneven temperatures throughout the house. Up to 40% of the air in your living space passes through the attic, so contaminated insulation affects your whole home.
Are you licensed and insured?
